Welcome to part two of our fashion spotlight on Lucy Hale. Refresh your memory with the first post where I talked about crop tops for summer. Now it's time to talk about the other half of her gorgeous outfit.

Cropping around LA

Earlier in July, Lucy Hale was spotted at a launch event at Urban Outfitters in Los Angeles. The "Pretty Little Liars" star looked absolutely glowing in her dark floral crop tank and with her hair in a loose side braid. 

In the midst of summer, crop tops are a great choice. For days out with family or friends choose a light and loose crop top together with jeans or shorts and you'll be ready for the summer heat. Here are a few that I've picked out:

The Duchess of Cambridge on official duty

Kate Middleton causes another fashion frenzy

Fresh off her honeymoon with William, Duke of Cambridge, Kate Middleton went straight into her duties as a Royal with an official meeting with the Obamas (who were on their state visit to the UK and Ireland earlier this week). Even after marriage, Kate continues to be an international fashion icon. During the meeting, she chose to sport a gorgeous dress by high-street retailer Reiss.

The "Shola" dress she wore is elegant, classy and retails at just £175. It's no wonder it sold out within hours of this photo being released. Second-hand versions are being sold over ebay at prices over £400! Luckily, Reiss will be restocking the dress in order to meet unprecedented demand.

New year, blue carpet

Wednesday marked the beginning of red carpet fashion in 2011. Entertainers came together to celebrate the People's Choice Awards, and they certainly wowed us on the "blue carpet". Pictured above are "Shake It Up" star Bella Thorne and actor/singer Selena Gomez, my personal picks for best dressed. Bella is wearing a stunning nude dress by Haute Hippie and Selena's "butterfly dress" is by Irina Shabayeva. Both numbers are beautiful and elegant but still very youthful. Below are my other favourite looks of the night:

Dianna Agron was probably one of the best dressed stars of 2010. Last year was a huge year for her hit show "Glee" which meant more opportunities for Dianna to show off her amazing red carpet style. What do these three dress have in common apart from their beauty and elegance? All are by fashion designer Carolina Herrera.

I'm sure most of you have heard of her as she is a major force in the celebrity fashion world. What I love about her designs is the classic, feminine vibe they exhibit. Look hard and you'll also find some edgier and more innovative styles in her collections.

As for Dianna Agron, I'm sure the stunning star has plently more to surprise us with in 2011 both on Glee and on the red carpet.

Jessica Lowndes adds a touch of gold

Sparkle and shine

Pictured above is 90210 star Jessica Lowndes performing at the 2010 Holiday Tree Lighting and Grand Opening of L.A. Kings Holiday Ice event. She definitely lit up the stage with her outfit and it's easy to see why - her stunning gold sequined blazer steals the show! 

I searched but could not find where the blazer was from, but it still proves the point that you can spice up any casual outfit with some sparkle. Add one gold or sequined piece of clothing/accessory to your outfit and you will surely stand out wherever you go! Here are a few pieces I found for inspiration:

Nina Dobrev at the Scream Awards 2010

All-black never looked so good

Pictured above is actress Nina Dobrev, representing her hit TV show The Vampire Diaries at the 2010 Scream Awards. Nina is always looking absolutely fabulous on the red carpet and this look is no exception. Her stylist definitely deserves a raise.

Nina is wearing a dress by Rock and Republic which is, for a red carpet dress, relatively affordable. What I love about it is the design - it's very rare these days to see a little black dress of this style. It's classy and sophisticated but still age-appropriate. The black theme continues with the beautiful accessories, which add to the elegance of the look.

Shenae Grimes at Teen Vogue's FNO party

Style tips from the 90210 starlet

Earlier this month was Fashion's Night Out in New York City and Cambio was on hand to cover the whole event. Above is the video from the Teen Vogue Party of which 90210 actor Shenae Grimes was the host.

The always friendly star gave us a breakdown of her outfit, as well as some insightful fashion tips. Her skirt is from Asos and she's wearing a leather jacket by Shona Joy. My favourite pick from her outfit are her shoes. They're a pair of Sam Edelman boots and they're absolutely fabulous! This shoe is a must-have - it can go with ANY outfit, guaranteed!

Twilight stars in Alice + Olivia

Christian & Anna share designers

Pictured above are Twilight stars Christian Serratos and Anna Kendrick attending the Blackberry Torch Launch party. Both girls are wearing gorgeous dresses by celebrity favourite Alice + Olivia.

The first is my favourite. It's a stunning brown sequin dress that is perfect for formal nights out. If you want, you can use lots of bold jewellery to glam it up, but I like the way Christian kept it simple yet still fabulous. The second is much more casual in comparison but still cute. I like the versatility of the dress, as it has the potential to be used for multiple occasions.

Trend alert: leather skirts

Leave your jackets at home!

Because it's all about the leather skirts! Pictured above is Step Up star Jenna Dewan Tatum wearing a unique leather pleated skirt. If I saw something like this on its own, I wouldn't usually go for it, but I love the way it's been put together with this outfit.

Jenna's skirt is by Alice + Olivia and can be bought here. I did some browsing and found some other great alternatives that are more affordable. The topshop one is perfect for anyone as you can incorporate it into your own style, but I especially love the pleated one.

Blake Lively at the Met Gala 2010

Best dressed in New York

The 2010 Met Costume Institute Gala was held in New York City earlier this year, and I have to say that Blake Lively stole the show - she was definitely my pick for best dressed on the red carpet.

Blake Lively wore a beautiful dress by Marchesa, part of the Fall/Winter 2010 collection. The dress is one-shoulder and a striking blue, decorated with a pretty and elaborate floral detail. The shape, the design and the colour are what I love about this dress and what make it so unique.

Marchesa is known for it's stunning and graceful dresses (for an example, check out the post on Taylor Momsen's red carpet style). However, what I love even more about Blake's dress is that it's short. Blake manages to be elegant while still being age-appropriate, because after all, she's young and so should be having fun with fashion!

Kerry Washington, A Broadway Celebration at the White House

Embellished evening wear

Spotted at the "A Broadway Celebration" at the White House earlier this week was actress Kerry Washington. Although it's difficult to see from the image, she was wearing a very beautiful Alice + Olivia dress.

The "gabby embellished blouson tank dress" is a cute and sophisticated number, and what's great about the dress is that it's formal without being too loud. I've seen very similar designs (loose with grey and white stripes) for casual dresses in many high street stores, but the embellishments are what make it evening-appropriate.
